The Giallorossi won 5-3 at the Stadio Bentegodi to grab the three points, with Salah scoring twice in the process.
Roma will clinch second in Serie A - and automatic qualification for the Champions League group stage - with a win over Genoa on the final day.
“I'm happy about today," Salah said. "We played well and I scored two so I'm pleased with everything.
“We did what we had to do today but the Genoa match is crucial now because we want to finish second. We need to be completely focused on our last game.”
The Egyptian rejected the suggestion that Roma players had felt the pressure during the game.
“I was just trying to concentrate on doing my best to help the team," Salah added. "We had two games to play and we needed six points. We've got three today so we just need to take the last step now."
