Dzeko scored the Giallorossi's first goal of the day on Sunday against Genoa - his 29th of the campaign - as the hosts eventually went on to win 3-2 and finish second in the final Serie A standings.
And that goal was also enough for Dzeko to walk away with the top goalscorer prize - as he edged out Napoli's Dries Mertens by a single goal.
Dzeko had to wait until after the late games had concluded to be confirmed as this season's 'Capocannoniere'.
Congratulations Edin!
