Goalkeeper Alisson Becker thanked Roma fans for two unforgettable seasons, after he completed his move to Liverpool on Thursday.
The Brazil international, who made 64 appearances for the Giallorossi in all competitions after joining in July 2016, moved to the Premier League side for a world record transfer fee for a goalkeeper.
Taking to social media after the deal was confirmed, the 25-year-old penned a heartfelt tribute to those in the Italian capital.
"At Roma I enjoyed two beautiful seasons," Alisson wrote. "Different, intense, but in the end full of achievements.
"Today we are heading in different directions but I want to thank everyone: the club, the team, and all the fans of Roma that motivated me to leave it all out on the pitch.
"I especially want to thank my teammates, who have been at my side for every battle, every high and low, and have been great with me from the first day. It was truly an honour to fight alongside you guys!
"I will always carry this club, and this city, in my heart."
