Alisson hopes to use winter break to advantage

BEC

Goalkeeper Alisson Becker has issued a rallying cry, as the players begin their brief winter break.

With Serie A resuming on the weekend of January 20, the Giallorossi squad have been given this week off to rest and recuperate – returning to training on Monday to begin preparations for the second half of the campaign.

And Alisson believes the break will give every player a chance to reflect on the team’s recent run of poor form and identify the causes.

“A break, to think about what we need to do to get better,” he wrote on Instagram, “and to return to being a team. Siamo la Roma.”
