Roma won 1-0 thanks to Aleksandar Kolarov's beautiful 69th minute free-kick.
How good does it feel to win ugly matches like these?
"Yes, it’s true. So many times, we’ve come here and found it tough. All things considered, we controlled the game today and didn’t have too many problems. We know how important set pieces are in modern football and one went in our favour today. [Aleksandar] Kolarov struck a beautiful free kick and after that we did well not to give many chances away and take home this important win."
What’s the mood like in the camp after a win like this?
"It’s good, like it often is when you win. We deserved to get the three points today and we’re happy. At the same time, we know that these points mean nothing if we don’t follow it up with a victory against Crotone and in the following fixtures as well."
How’s your fitness holding up with every game?
"Personally, I’m feeling better and better with every match. The best thing is that I’m playing and so I’ll get back to my former fitness soon. Then we might see some big performances in games."
Do you think this Roma team is mature enough to achieve big things?
"We’re focused and in the zone; I think that’s clear to see. That was obvious in London and today as well. If you come to play Torino with the wrong approach, you risk losing. I think we’re mature and we have a big squad full of quality. This cannot be underestimated over the course of a season, because we have many games to play and everyone will be important for the squad. There are still players to be discovered who will definitely make an important contribution towards Roma hitting their targets."
