Italian football fan (and AS Roma columnist) Gregory Caltabanis, Bamang from major Indonesian fan club IndoRoma, and Antonio from Twitter account @roma_calcio are put to the test with three topical football questions…
Gregory / @GCatalbanis: “To be frank, I was not expecting Roma to perform like that at Stamford Bridge, especially after going down two goals. After initial signs, it seems Di Francesco has stamped his authority on not only the club's style of play but also the Giallorossi's mentality. I fully expect them to progress out of that difficult group if they keep this up.”
Bamang / @indoroma: “Yes I was surprised. There were a lot of mistakes in the first half but we saw a different Roma in the second half. More solid, more impressive and Dzeko on fire.”
Antonio / @roma_calcio: “I would be lying if I said I was not surprised. Roma played an incredible game. They came out strong from the get-go and controlled the game with notable standouts being Kolarov and obviously Dzeko. If it weren't for a couple of turnovers, we would be first in the group. Still a great result versus a well-coached Champions League contender.”
@GCatalbanis: “Inter and Napoli will be THE game to watch this weekend in my opinion, pitting two of the hottest teams in Italy with two of the best coaches in the league. Considering Napoli are coming off a taxing Champions League encounter against Manchester City, I think Inter will get a result, likely ending in a highly-entertaining draw.”
@indoroma: “I think Inter will win this match. They are in good shape physically and mentally after winning in Milan derby.”
@roma_calcio: “It should be a great one. Two well-rounded teams who have been tearing it up this season. Hard to call, but if you ask me I say Napoli has the upper hand, though you can never rule out a well-coached Inter side. Napoli take this one, but I wouldn't be surprised if Inter get a late equaliser to snatch a point.”
@GCatalbanis: “The best player in the Premier League is 100% a Belgian. I think it really comes down to either Eden Hazard or Kevin De Bruyne. We've seen that both players are capable of dominating the final third and have done so as recently as this past week in the Champions League. On current form, I'd have to go with the Manchester City man, but it's close.”
@indoroma: “The best EPL players right now are both Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero. The former is a very talented young player, while ‘Kun’ is a top bomber in my opinion.”
@roma_calcio: “I personally think the best Premier league player is N'Golo Kante. He just does it all and there's nothing like it. He is the definition of an all-around talent and team player - not flashy, but he gets the job done and is extremely important for his side's success. Not only is he the best but he's probably the most underrated, which makes him that much more special.”
