Bahraini Roma fan Ali Al-Ansari is joined by Sebastian from @CalcioASRoma, and Texan Roma-diehard Matt Walden as they are put to the test with three topical football questions…

The Roma Question: If you could sign one player from Napoli for Roma, who would it be and why?

@AliAaansari1: “Dries Mertens. He would give Roma the spark and speed they are lacking up front.”

@CalcioASRoma: “Napoli have a ton of fun players. Mertens, Hamsik, Allan, Insigne. But the player I'd pick is Jorginho, based on what I feel Roma would need the most. The best regista in the league, one of the best in Europe. It's a fantasy of course, but what a player.”

@MattWaldenGFX: “I’d take Insigne. I’ve admired him for a long time and love his ability to change a game in an instant. Adding him to our attack would elevate the players around him.”

The Serie A Question: Who will win the Derby della Madonnina?

@AliAaansari1: “I think this is going to end in a draw, 2-2.”

@CalcioASRoma: “It's tough to call. Gattuso's Milan has impressed me and they are coming off a huge win. Inter, like Roma haven't been in the best form of late. A win for Milan and they are in the race of the Champions League. Inter though could use this game a chance to restart. It's very tough to call! I'm going to say a draw.

@MattWaldenGFX: “I’m taking AC Milan, 2-1. Milan is on a roll, and having just beaten Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, they will be flying high.”

The General Football Question: Which club in La Liga or Bundesliga is most similar to Roma?

@AliAaansari1: “I can't see a club in Spain or Germany that is consistently punching above their weight trying to win long lost glory, but I have to say Tottenham Hotspur in recent years have a lot in common with Roma. They too are aiming to build a stadium to bridge the gap with financially stronger clubs in England.”

@CalcioASRoma: “I'm going to go with Sevilla. Firstly, both are coached by ex-Roma players at the moment! But both clubs don't always win the league title due to teams who have much better spending power than them. I feel like there's more pressure in Rome to succeed though. But usually we both have teams that are competing for Champions League spots and we both take pride in our own. Totti and Monchi are examples. Both fan bases are passionate about the club and live for the club. One day, as hard as it may be (maybe even impossible some will say) due to Barcelona, Real and Atletico, I would love to see them win the league title.”

@MattWaldenGFX: “I want to say Borussia Dortmund, but they’ve actually won recently. But that championship aside, their rabid fan support, their propensity to finish runners-up over and over again, a team with big dreams who oftentimes falls short… all of these things make them a similar team to Roma.”
