After representing the Giallorossi across two seasons of competitive FIFA, Roma eSports and Sam 'Poacher' Carmody have parted ways.

The 19-year-old Exeter native was one of AS Roma’s inaugural three eSports signings. Since February 2017, he represented Roma and Fnatic proudly at official tournaments and events around the world.

Carmody qualified for the FUT Champions Cup in Barcelona this season and last year's Paris FUT Champions Regional - two of the biggest FIFA tournaments in the world. He also placed second at the Imperdible02, a competition held at the Vicente Calderón Stadium in Spain last year. During his time with the Giallorossi, he scored 190 total competitive goals.

"Playing under Roma and Fnatic was an experience to remember for the rest of my life," Sam said. "Everyone I worked with - from teammates to managers - were awesome people to be around and made the experience that much better. I wish them all the best for the future."

Roma eSports would like to thank Sam for his hard work and dedication. We wish him all the best for the future.
