Defender Federico Fazio has been named in Argentina's 23-man squad for this summer's World Cup in Russia - but teammate Diego Perotti has not made the cut.
Fazio will join up with teammates including Lionel Messi and Paulo Dybala for the tournament, which gets underway next month.
Perotti, meanwhile, had been named in the preliminary group for the tournament - but did not make the final cuts. He could be called up as an injury replacement prior to June 4, however.
Former Roma player Leandro Paredes also missed out on being included in Jorge Sampaoli's squad.
Earlier in the day, midfielder Radja Nainggolan was not selected for Belgium's preliminary tournament squad - and subsequently announced his international retirement.
