Report: Late Avellino strike forces Roma to settle for a draw

TOP

Roma's pre-season preparations continued on Friday evening with a 1-1 draw against Serie B side Avellino in Frosinone.

The Giallorossi, who beat Latina 9-0 on Saturday, took a second half lead through Patrik Schick at the Stadio Benito Stirpe - only for a last-gasp long range strike to ultimately erase their hopes of victory.

Eusebio Di Francesco's side now head to the United States, where they will face Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona and Real Madrid as part of the International Champions Cup.
