Roma's postponed Serie A meeting with Sampdoria has been officially confirmed for 24 January 2018, meaning the two teams will face each other in the league in back-to-back games.
Sampdoria's 4-1 victory over Pescara in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday night enabled league organisers to confirm the forthcoming schedule, with the re-arranged fixture now officially set for the penultimate Wednesday in January.
The Giallorossi will then host their opponents at the Stadio Olimpico a few days later in the reverse fixture.
The original Stadio Luigi Ferraris meeting between the two sides, scheduled for back in September, was called off due to severe weather conditions in Genoa.
The trip to Liguria will be Roma's second game after January's winter break - coming a few days after they resume their league campaign against Inter Milan at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
