“We were a bit unlucky. We had the chances to score goals, but there's not much more we can say about it now. We need to pick ourselves up straight away, because on Sunday we have Lecce and then after that there are other important games."

What was lacking for you tonight?

“I believe that we were just a bit unlucky; we had the chances in front of goal but their goalkeeper played well."

Did Nicolo Zaniolo and Tammy Abraham seem a bit frustrated to you?

“They are trying to do everything they can, they are hungry to help out and score. They are doing everything they can. I don't really have anything else to say - we have to think about Lecce now and doing better in that one."

Could you have done more to stop that second Betis goal?

“Luiz Henrique did well with his header. Leo [Spinazzola] tried to contain the action but the forward did well to make good contact with the ball."
