After being knocked out of the main phase of the competition at the group stage, the young Giallorossi ultimately swept all before them in the consolation bracket - finishing top of their group before beating Cincinnati (the winners of the other group) thanks to Tarantino's early strike.
Around that the teenagers enjoyed a number of memorable experiences, visiting the historical sites of Dallas and watching the first-team's European win over Bodo/Glimt as the guests of Roma Club Dallas.

"The boys have spent a lot of time together, a long way from home, and have had to get to grips with a different culture and different environments. That is true on the pitch as well, and they've grown a lot as a group."
He added: "On the pitch, even the negative moments gave us a lot of positive feedback - we learned from them in so many ways.
