Ibanez: We're disappointed for the fans

Roger Ibanez scored his first Serie A goal on Sunday afternoon, but it wasn't enough to help Roma to victory in the Derby della Capitale.

The Giallorossi fell to a 3-2 defeat at the Stadio Olimpico, even after Ibanez's header just before half-time had seemed to turn the tide of the game back in their favour.

Here's what the defender had to say after the contest...

What went wrong in the opening 20 minutes?

"We started off with the wrong approach. That changed after 20 minutes, and from then on we were always dictating the game. It's a shame about the result, we are sorry for the fans. Now we have to focus on the next match."

What does the goal mean to you personally?

"It really means a lot to me. But I'm more disappointed about the loss - if we had won the game it would have been a lot nicer. But, nevertheless, it still means a lot for me to score."

What did Mourinho tell you after the game?

"The coach's speech will stay between us. I'll just say that I think our attitude overall is the right one - we need to make sure we continue as we have been."
