Kumbulla, who joined the club from Hellas Verona last summer, made 27 appearances for the club in all competitions - scoring goals in both Serie A and the Europa League for the Giallorossi.
After recently participating in two friendly matches with the Albanian national team, the 21-year-old has now officially completed his 2020-21 campaign.
Here's how he reflected on that, via Instagram:
"After two great friendly games for my country, my season has now come to an end," Kumbulla wrote.
"For me it has been amazing: my debut for Roma in European competitions, my first goal for the club, along with my development playing for Albania – with whom I dream and aim to achieve some great things. There are a lot of positives that I will take with me from this season.
"As for the negatives, however, they will only help me learn and develop. It is just the start and I want to continue to grow. I can’t wait to get started next season and I hope to be able to finally meet the fans at the Olimpico! Thank you."
