The Giallorossi romped to victory at the Artemio Franchi to grab another valuable three points, as Edin Dzeko, Aleksandar Kolarov, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Nicolo Zaniolo all got on the scoresheet.
All four goals were spectacular in their own way - but what impressed most was the overall nature of the Roma performance, who dominated almost from start to finish.
The only moments of concern came in the wake of Milan Badelj's first-half strike - which cut the deficit to 2-1 - but once Pellegrini had struck with 15 minutes remaining, the dominance from Paulo Fonseca's side was duly rewarded.

The visitors started the game brightly and were rewarded inside the first 20 minutes, as Dzeko turned home after Pellegrini had done brilliantly to find Zaniolo in space down the right.
The youngster's first-time pass back across goal was exactly what was needed, and Dzeko made no mistake with the gilt-edged chance.
Two minutes later it was 2-0, as Kolarov expertly dispatched a free-kick right on the edge of the box.
A somewhat fortunate goal from Badelj then threatened to upset the rhythm, as both sides pressed when the action resumed in the second half. But when Pellegrini found the bottom corner with a brilliant finish with 20 minutes remaining, all appeared wrapped up.
There was still time for one final moment of brilliance, however, as Zaniolo romped clear of the defence and passed the ball home to add an extra flourish to the final scoreline.
The Giallorossi are back in action after the New Year - they host Torino at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday January 5.
