The Giallorossi actually went behind in the game at Stadio Tre Fontane, although they went in level at the break thanks to Felipe Estrella Galeazzi’s equaliser.
A goal from Adam Sdaigui and brace from winger Ludovico D’Orazio then wrapped up the victory for Alberto De Rossi’s side.
“We can’t do much more to make life hard for ourselves, but that’s part of who we are,” De Rossi told Roma TV.
“It might be time to stop that, to be a bit calmer out on the pitch.”
The Giallorossi will now face Atalanta for a place in the semi-finals.
“Right now Atalanta are the side to beat, they won everything last season and are always very strong,” De Rossi added.
“It’ll be a great game. We’ve already stopped them this season and hope to be able to do that again.”
