In Photos: Players and staff enjoy club's Christmas Charity Event

Players and staff from both Roma's first-team squads were present at the club's official Christmas Charity Event on Monday evening, attended by sponsors, partners and special guests of the club.

The players were on hand to witness a special screening of 'Michelangelo and the Secrets of the Sistine Chapel', a unique presentation that, using projections, live music and performing artists, helps bring to life the incredible story behind the images of the Sistine Chapel.

The evening was in aid of Roma Cares, the club's charity arm that supports numerous projects around the Italian capital and further afield.

During the night, members of the club staff came on stage - with a number making short speeches.

"A special thank you to all of you here tonight who have helped contribute to the many initiatives we have been working on away from the playing field," said club managing director Mauro Baldissoni.

"The proceeds from tonight's event will go towards supporting our 'Calcio Integrato' ('integrated football') initiative, which has been running for more than three years now - and helps children with disabilities to get involved with football."
