Bryan Cristante will start his first game for Roma on Monday night, as Javier Pastore plays in attack against Atalanta.
Coach Eusebio Di Francesco has opted to make two changes from the side that beat Torino on the opening weekend - with Cristante coming into midfield alongside Lorenzo Pellegrini.
That gives Pastore the opportunity to move into attack, replacing Stephan El Shaarawy.
Once again Daniele De Rossi captains the side, with Edin Dzeko leading the attack.
