Salih Ucan sprained the big toe of his left foot during this morning's training session
Medical tests on the metatarsophalangeal joint revealed some fairly severe ligament damage and a small avulsion fracture in the head of the metatarsal.
The 21-year-old Turkish midfielder, who has made six appearances for AS Roma so far this season, has already begun his recovery programme. He is expected to be out of action for around four weeks.
