Miralem Pjanic is looking forward to playing alongside Ervin Zukanovic at Roma.
Speaking at an event organised by club sponsor Philipp Plein, Pjanic explained that he was happy to help his compatriot settle in.
“We’re ready to welcome Zukanovic,” said Pjanic. “He’ll need to be ready to do his bit as quickly as possible and we’ll all help him.”
The Giallorossi No. 15 then stressed that Zukanovic, who has also played for Chievo Verona and Sampdoria in Italy, will need to get used to a different level of football in the capital.
“Roma is a big club,” he explained. “It’ll be different to where he’s been in the past. There’s a different level of pressure here, different objectives. The club has high ambitions and you play to win every game. We’ll help him to integrate and to understand what Roma’s about.”
