UYL, Lorenzo Vasco: Focused on nothing but winning

Alberto De Rossi's U19s are set to lock horns with the Dutch outfit in the UEFA Youth League last 16 at 14:00 CET.

“We're playing away and obviously it would have been better if we'd had our fans behind us but we won't let that bother us – we're focused on nothing but winning,” the 18-year-old midfielder began.

After defeating Red Bull Salzburg in Austria in the previous round, the Primavera now head further north to the Netherlands for another single-legged tie on foreign soil.

What do you know about PSV?

“They're a very technical side – and very physical too – but we don't fear anyone. We'll set out to play our game and to win.”

What do Roma need to go through?

“We need to show a winning mentality and that's something we've been working on a lot. We'll get stuck into them from the off.”

You won't have Lorenzo Di Livio in the hole. What difference does that make?

“The main thing is we play to the best of our ability and show what we're about no matter who the opposition is. The gaffer wants us to be determined and aggressive from the outset and keep the ball on the deck – basically play our usual game.”
