Ervin Zukanovic to wear No.87 shirt

The Bosnian, who has turned out on 12 occasions for his country, is Roma's second acquisition of the January transfer window.

Zukanovic wore the same number at both of his previous clubs in Italy – Sampdoria and Chievo Verona – as it coincides with the year of his birth.

No.87 was previously worn by current Frosinone player Aleandro Rosi when he was at Roma in 2010-11 and 2011-12.

A few other Giallorossi players to wear the year of their birth were Marco Cassetti with No.77, Ivan Pelizzoli with No.80, Stefano Okaka with No.89, Federico Viviani with No.92, Valerio Verre with No. 94, Antonio Sanabria with No.96, as well as Sadiq Umar who has opted to play with No.97 this season.
