Digne, who has spent the season in the Italian capital on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, was one of 24 players selected by national coach Didier Deschamps on Thursday morning.
Les Bleus, who kick off proceedings against Romania at the Stade de France on 10 June, are considered one of the favourites to win the tournament.
The full-back has made no secret of his determination to force his way into the squad and even told asroma.com upon his arrival at the club that he had set his sights on the summer tournament.
“First of all, I chose AS Roma because it’s a legendary club with a big history,” he stated back in August. “The Champions League also had a big impact on my decision and having such strong support from the fans was massive for me. It’s important for me to get more playing time and get as many matches under my belt as I can before the Euros.”
