Lazio v Roma: 6 newspapers reveal their Man of the Match

Roma won their second derby of the season thanks to goals from Stephan El Shaarawy, Edin Dzeko, Alessandro Florenzi and Diego Perotti

Find out who the Italian press have singled out for praise this morning.

Here are the marks out of 10 from six national dailies.

Corriere dello Sport: Perotti 8

Every time he gets on the ball, he shows unbelievable ability. He struck the post with a shot before the ball broke for Dzeko to score.

Corriere della Sera: Nainggolan 7.5

He put in a massive shift, full of quality. Wesley Hoedt's cynical body check was the only thing that could stop him. Booked for dissent, he will miss the home match against Bologna through suspension.

Il Tempo: Perotti 8

He turned on the style in the derby, showcasing all of his technical and tactical ability. A goal and an assist were merely the highlights of a classy 90-minute display.

La Repubblica: Perotti 7.5

He covered more ground than anyone else and dictated Roma's play with his movement between the lines. He sealed victory too.

La Gazzetta dello Sport: Perotti 7.5

Unstoppable. He's afforded the greatest licence to roam of the four forwards and his movement hurt the opposition. Great goal and a lovely effort off the post from which Dzeko scored.

Il Messaggero: Perotti 7.5

A dazzling display full of quality: an assist, a shot off the post, a goal and plenty of clear ideas. He consistently burst forward with the ball glued to his foot. He left opposition players all at sea and finished the match with a velvety left-foot finish past Federico Marchetti, bringing an end to Stefano Pioli's time in charge of Lazio. The Argentine is an excellent, clinical footballer.
