Roma defender Antonio Rudiger has sent an upbeat message to fans after an injury cruelly ruled him out of Euro 2016.
The Germany international went down in training on Tuesday afternoon, with team doctors suspecting ruptured knee ligaments.
The 23-year-old will undergo further assessment on Wednesday, but has sent a defiant message to supporters about his recovery.
"You may see me struggle, but you will never see me quit!" Rudiger posted on social media. "Thanks for all your get well soon wishes!"

Rudiger joined Roma from Stuttgart in 2015, going on to make 37 appearances in all competitions during his first campaign for the club.
He has 11 caps for Germany, the last of them coming in the recent friendly match against Hungary on 4 June.
