The Giallorossi travel to Sardinia for the game on Sunday, looking to respond in the right way following the pain of Tuesday's defeat at home to Porto in the Champions League play-off.
“Sometimes the most important thing is to bounce back from a defeat and refocus your objectives on future victories," Spalletti told reporters. "We need to remember the Porto match. We’ll draw what we can from it but we also need to move on and focus on new objectives.
"We’ve learned many things from the game and we’ll carry those with us."
In the wake of the defeat, questions have often focused on the possible negative effect the result will have on the players - but Spalletti is confident his players will not be affected.
“You only need to take a look at the squad to see that my players have moved on," Spalletti said. "They want to look forward and keep working hard.
"They haven't forgotten all the work and effort they put in previously. They deserve another chance.
“The defeat was the result of several factors and it's hard to assess the game objectively. We're determined to come through this and the players have shown a professional attitude.
"We've put it behind us and want to get back to winning ways starting tomorrow. We won't forget the defeat though; we'll learn from it.”
