Roma's UEFA Europa League encounter against Astra Giurgiu this Thursday is to be overseen by Azerbaijani match official Aliyar Aghayev
It is the Giallorossi's second Group E fixture, following a 1-1 draw with Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Republic two weeks ago.
Aghayev, who made his Europa League debut in last year's group stage, has never officiated a match involving Roma or Astra Giurgiu before.
He recently took charge of the 2016 European Under-19 Championship final between Italy and France in Germany.
Aliyar Aghayev will be assisted by Zeynal Zeynalov and Rza Mammadov at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday night.
Orkhan Mammadov and Rahim Hasanov have been appointed as additional assistants, while Mubariz Hashimov will be the fourth official.
