Gallery: Primavera show resolve to see off Crotone in thriller

IMA

The Primavera picked up all three points in dramatic fashion on Saturday afternoon, as they came from behind to beat Crotone 5-3 at Stadio Tre Fontane.

Trailing 2-1 early in the second half, Edoardo Soleri grabbed his second goal of the game to even things up - before a finish from Keba Coly and fine double from Marco Tumminello secured a hard-fought victory.

“We have to face facts and admit that we're not in brilliant form at the moment," coach Alberto De Rossi said afterwards. "I think we still have a few hang-ups from our Youth League exit. Then we lost to Inter and that knocked the lads' confidence a little, but I saw some better football today.

"We should also say that it takes a strong side to pull through and win a game like today's. The boys overcame huge difficulties and that shows you what a great side they are. We'll push on from here.”

The game was also notable for the return to action of Nura Abdullahi, who played 45 minutes on his return to action after a cruciate knee ligament injury.
