Salah and Egypt bid to reach Cup of Nations final

The Pharoahs will be hoping Salah can help steer the side to the final, their first such appearance since they won the competition seven years ago. So far, the Giallorossi winger has contributed a goal and an assist towards his team's cause.

Burkina Faso have emerged as surprise contenders in Gabon, having knocked out the hosts and Tunisia on the way to the last four.

Egypt last faced Burkina Faso in 1998, also in the Cup of Nations semi-final. On that occasion Egypt won 2-0, thanks to goals from Hossam Hassan.
