Ryan Giggs: Salah is an exciting player

The Welshman, who won a host of honours with the Red Devils including the Champions League in 1998-99 and 2007-08, discussed Egyptian football during his trip to Cairo as part of his role as an ambassador on the UEFA Champions League trophy tour.

Giggs singled out three Egyptian players for praise. Besides Roma's Salah, he also rates Mohamed Elneny of Arsenal and Stoke City forward Ramadan Sobhi.

"He's an exciting player", said the former winger of Mohamed. "It's always nice to see left-footed players. It just didn’t work out at Chelsea for whatever reason but he's a definitely a talented player."
