Strootman makes Scuola di Tifo visit

The midfielder visited the Istituto Ferrini di via Mascagni to meet young students, and speak to them about the importance of respect and fair play - while also offering some advice on the importance of following a healthy diet.

"I've seen a few kids get quite emotional, which is a bit unusual but it is nice to see," Strootman said. "It's been a nice day."

He added: "For us diet is absolutely crucial so we are always able to be at our best - but it is still vital as well for kids. They don't need to follow the same rules as us players, but it is important they know what to eat, what to drink and what sort of things to avoid."
