Ahead of tomorrow’s test in Torino, Lupi di Londra’s Valentina, Giorgio and Valerio are put on the spot with three topical football questions…

The Roma Question: What’s the secret to beating Juventus?

Valentina / @ValeTomassetti: “We should stop treating them like they’re unbeatable. Roma has proved they can compete and win against the best teams in Europe. Recent games against Juventus have always been crucial matches for our seasons; we must stop getting nervous and start showing them what we are really made of. Work on the psychology of the game, make them feel you are not afraid of them.”

Giorgio / @Giorgio_de_Roma: “We should play fast and lethal counter attacks. Also we have to be physically strong throughout the game.”

Valerio / @Vale79Jml: “On a technical level, Roma can compete against Juventus, but we still have to learn a lot about being more cynical, aggressive and determined. I can see how our coach is trying to work on that. It will be interesting to see the game on Saturday, to see how much hunger to win we will show.”

The Serie A Question: Should the Azzurri consider a foreign coach?

@ValeTomassetti: “Not really a foreign coach, but maybe one with several years of experience abroad. It is true, however, that our national team is really in need of a total makeover, starting from the ones who run the Federation.”

@Giorgio_de_Roma: “I would prefer an Italian coach who has international experience such as Carlo Ancelotti or Claudio Ranieri.”

@Vale79Jml: “What the Azzurri really need is a planned strategy for the future. The team has relied too much on senior players like Gianluigi Buffon and Daniele De Rossi and neglected some very interesting lads from our academy teams, which can be the foundation for our future, despite the nationality of our coach.”

The General Football Question: Should clubs be able to loan players outside of the transfer window?

@ValeTomassetti: “Not in my opinion. The transfer window is a neutral time when clubs can play their cards to gets the best players they can afford. Changing the structure of a team in due course would alter the results and the outcome of a season. Also, I am afraid that constant movement of players from one club to another might affect the continuity and internal equilibrium of a team.”

@Giorgio_de_Roma: “As it would give too much pressure for clubs, I would only allow the loans for the players under 19 years of age.”

@Vale79Jml: “No, as it would completely overturn the course of a season. It would be a real advantage only for richer clubs, which would be able to attract the best players all year long.”
