Despite rumours swirling around a number of players over the past few days, Di Francesco insisted that all the players called up for the game in Liguria remain available to him - ahead of an important clash for the side.
“As things stand, all the players who are here are available for this hugely important match we have to play in 36 hours' time," Di Francesco said.
"I have to make sure everyone is ready for it – including the players whose names are in the papers. Right now my focus is on preparing the team as best as possible to face Sampdoria tomorrow.”
The coach added that he hoped his side would take elements of their performance from Sunday's 1-1 draw against Inter Milan, but would need to show even more resolve at the Marassi in order to get a much-needed three points.
“This team must set out to win every game," he added.
"We need to find our consistency and togetherness again – we saw a bit of that against Inter but then the result wasn't what we wanted. I saw something resembling the sort of Roma I want to see, though. That's the spirit we need to play with.”
