Alex of Ukrainian fan club “Fronte Ucraino,” and Roma Club Saint Petersburg member Luba join the guys from Roma Club Madrid, as they are put on the spot with three topical football questions…
Alessio, Pietro & Renato / @romaclub_madrid: “We have to be honest – the main key was Mario Rui’s game. But seriously, the key was De Rossi’s role, who was focused on stopping Allan.”
Alex / @kostenkooleksa1: “This time the discipline overwhelmed the class. Roma were more precise and compact during the match in most aspects, while Napoli became less concentrated. This was especially true in zonal playing, when they were trying to save the game (almost the same happened to them against Leipzig in Europa League). The win is always a combination of different factors: if, for example, Mario Rui had played better and Alisson hadn’t made those saves, we would be discussing a different story now.”
Luba / @Footwife: “There were two 'keys' in that match that made us win – the goalkeeper and centre forwards. Everybody says it was not Napoli-Roma but the Insigne-Alisson game, and that's very true. Our keeper appeared to be stronger, as I think he is the best goalkeeper in Serie A right now and he proved it in that game. Centre forwards, especially Dzeko, helped him a lot. We had eight attempts to score in Napoli's penalty area and we scored four! Even Sarri said after the match that he did not understand how it happened. I wish we could have such success in every match, when everybody works at their best.”
@romaclub_madrid: “I’m sure that every Roma fan would say that the best goal at the moment has been the one scored by Cengiz Under against Hellas Verona. ”
@kostenkooleksa1: “Alberto Brignoli’s goal against Milan. A classic scenario for a last-minute goal (when a keeper is going for a corner as the last resort). No additional explanations are needed.”
@Footwife: “I would nominate best Serie A goal as Under against Napoli. It was really cool and quite decisive for the whole match. ”
@romaclub_madrid: “We’re sure that Milan will do their best, due to the good moment they’re having, but Arsenal has lots of players with more experience in these competitions. So Arsenal will proceed.”
@kostenkooleksa1: “I would opt for a psychological aspect of this game. Arsenal has nothing to lose after latest poor performances this season, and Milan could come under pressure, in particular now when they are ‘on fire.’ I would give a higher chance to Arsenal (let’s say, 70% to pass this stage against 30% for Milan).”
@Footwife: “I always cheer against Italian teams in Europe if Roma are not playing, but here I'd say that Milan will pass. They have created a good team, and if we remember our recent match with Milan, it should prove my words. So, I guess they are in a good condition to beat Arsenal.”
