On Thursday afternoon Roma forward Diego Perotti made a special visit to Rome's Sant'Eugenio hospital to visit young patients on the children's ward there.
The Argentine presented special gifts to the children, spending time with them and their families and posing for photographs and signing memorabilia.
"To lift the spirits of these kids and help them smile is something that always makes me happy," Perotti said. "It is particularly emotional to meet some of these kids, because I am a father and I know how precious a child is to the parents."
Perotti was visiting the hospital as part of the long-running Toys Day initiative, organised by the club's Roma Cares charity foundation and run in collaboration with GECO Animation.
