The club can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Sampdoria for midfielder Gonzalo Villar.
Villar, 24, joins the Serie A side on an initial loan deal. As part of the agreement there is the option for Sampdoria to make the transfer permanent.
Villar joined the Giallorossi in January 2020, going on to make 64 appearances for the club in all competitions.
He spent the second half of the 2021-22 season on loan with La Liga side Getafe.
The club would like to wish Gonzalo the best of luck with this new adventure.
