Zeki Celik completes move to Roma

The club is delighted to announce the signing of Zeki Celik on a permanent deal.

Celik, 25, joins Roma from French side LOSC Lille.

He has signed a four-year contract with the Giallorossi that runs until 30 June 2026.

“It’s an honour for me to play for such a big club; I have big ambitions and I want to help this team be successful,” Celik said.

“I feel focused and ready – I will never let up and you will always see me fighting for everything out there on the pitch.”

The Turkiye international began his career at Bursaspor, going on to represent Karacabeyspor and Istanbulspor in his home country before eventually joining Lille in 2018.

Celik went on to win the Ligue 1 title with the French side in 2021, making almost 150 appearances for the club in all competitions.

At international level he has already amassed 32 caps, also representing his country at last summer’s European Championship.

“We are really pleased that Zeki has decided to come to Roma – his conviction in choosing to join our project is a vital ingredient in building a squad of players united by their ambition,” said Tiago Pinto, the club’s General Manager.

“What is more, despite still being so young he has already picked up a lot of experience at European and international level, which will prove to be very useful as this group continues to progress.”

Celik has opted to wear the No. 19 shirt for the Giallorossi.

    Welcome to Roma, Zeki!
