Another child featured in transfer videos found safe and well

A 13th child featured in one of the club's transfer announcement videos has been subsequently found safe and well.

The club received the good news about the child, who cannot now be named for legal reasons, this week from the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC), who have been Roma's long-term partners on the project.

The individual is the first to be found after being included in a announcement video this summer - with their details appearing in the videos to announce the signings of both Nemanja Matic and Mile Svilar.

This latest good news means a total of 13 children have been found since the club started the initiative.

The club began the social media initiative in the summer of 2019, looking to harness the worldwide interest in transfer signings to raise awareness about the plight of missing children across the world.

Along with ICMEC, the club have partnered with Telefono Azzurro (Italy), the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (USA), Missing People (UK), Missing Child Kenya and more, to ensure as wide a reach as possible.

The various announcement videos have been viewed over 17 million times across Roma's social media accounts, shining a spotlight on more than 170 different cases of missing children from across the globe.

A young boy from Athens, a girl in Italy, three teenagers from England, a young boy from Belgium and two children from Kenya are among those who have previously been found safe after appearing in transfer videos published by the club.
