Giada Greggi commits future to Roma Women!

The club is delighted to announce that midfielder Giada Greggi has agreed a contract extension with Roma Women.

Greggi, 22, will now remain at the club until 30 June 2025.

The full Italy international has been a member of the Giallorosse squad since its inauguration in 2018, going on to make 70 appearances for the side in all competitions.

“Deciding to renew my contract with Roma was straightforward, as it is the club I have always supported,” Greggi said.

“In my head the only thought I had was of continuing with this team, a team that has been a part of my life since I was a kid.

“If I look back I see a little girl who loves the club and can’t wait to take a ball out on the beach and try to imitate all the great Roma players.

"Today I wear that shirt every Sunday and myself and my teammates always try to do our best to live up to that honour.”

Greggi won the European Golden Girl in 2019, going on to earn full international honours with Italy as she also helped Roma to victory in the Coppa Italia in 2021.

Last season, she played a vital role in the run-in as Alessandro Spugna’s side secured Champions League qualification for the first time in the club’s history.

“Next season we are expecting a lot of great challenges and opportunities for us to develop further,” Greggi added.

“I hope to be able to contribute towards the club achieving all its targets.”
