    Lind joins the Giallorosse

Roma Women are delighted to announce the signing of Swedish goalkeeper Emma Lind.

Lind, 26, has agreed a contract with the club that runs until 30 June 2023.

She will provide competition for Camelia Ceasar, following Rachele Baldi's move to Napoli.

“I look forward to experiencing the culture of Italian football and being part of a league that is realising its full potential,” Lind said.

“I hope to be able to contribute with the experience I have gained from games in other leagues. I have come here to help the team win matches and trophies.”

The third Swedish player to represent the Giallorosse, following Petronella Ekroth and Marija Banusic, Lind joins after an experience with Turbine Potsdam in Germany.

She has previously represented Rosengard, where she won the Swedish league and cup and played in the Champions League.

She arrives in Italy having made 140 appearances in the Swedish top flight.

“We are really pleased to have added Emma to our squad,” said Betty Bavagnoli, the club’s Head of Women’s Football.

“She is a great goalkeeper and a great person and we will rely on both her presence and experience.

"This is not the first time she has opted to play her football a long way from home, underlining the character she has.”

    Welcome to Roma, Emma!
