International: Jordan Veretout makes France debut

Jordan Veretout is a full France international, after he made his debut for the national team on Wednesday evening.

Veretout started the World Cup qualifier against Bosnia & Herzegovina - a game that finished 1-1, after Edin Dzeko and Antoine Griezmann got on the scoresheet.

Veretout, started in a three-man midfield, was eventually withdrawn after 54 minutes.

Speaking after the game, the No. 17 reflected on the occasion.

"It was a really emotional game, to sing La Marseillaise [the national anthem] for the first time was an incredible feeling," Veretout said.

"There's a bit of disappointment there because we didn't win the game, but we will look to get back on track on Saturday when we have another important game [against Ukraine]."
