The club is delighted to confirm that midfielder Vanessa Bernauer has extended her contract with Roma Women.
Bernauer has signed a new one-year agreement that runs until 30 June 2022.
One of the inaugural members of the first-team squad when Roma Women was founded in 2018, the Swiss international scored the crucial penalty as the Giallorosse won the Coppa Italia in May.
“I am delighted to renew my contract, and to wear this shirt for a fourth season,” Bernauer said.
“By winning the Coppa Italia last season we achieved something historic, in an historic match, one where I was lucky enough to score the decisive penalty. It was a result that we had worked so hard to achieve.
“The story is not over, however, and as a team we now need to focus on the new targets that we want to be celebrating with the club and our fans next season. Daje Roma!”
Bernauer has made 59 appearances for the club to date, scoring seven goals.
