Soffia extends Roma Women stay

The Italy international has signed a new deal that runs until 30 June 2023.

Soffia, 21, has been a member of the Giallorosse since the club’s inception in the summer of 2018 – making 62 appearances to date and scoring one goal.

She finished last season by helping Roma win the Coppa Italia for the first time in the club’s history, while also making her debut for the Italy national team.

“I’ve chosen Roma once again because I feel there is still so much I can give to, and get back from, this club and this city,” Soffia said.

“It’s an environment that fills your heart with passion and love and that gives you the power to overcome adversity – and I think the victory in the Coppa Italia was just another example of that.

“I cannot wait to get started on the new season to help advance this club as far as possible.”
