Agnese Bonfantini signs new deal until 2022

The club are delighted to announce that Roma Women forward Agnese Bonfantini has renewed her contract.

Bonfantini, 20, has put pen-to-paper on a new deal that runs until 2022.

The Italy international announced the contract extension with a video message on social media.

“Representing this club has given me the opportunity to be part of an incredible group, one that is hungry to keep improving and to win,” Bonfantini said.

“Here in Rome I have always felt incredible support from the fans at Tre Fontane. I want to stay here, and I want to win.”

Having joined the Giallorosse ahead of the side’s inaugural season in Serie A back in 2018, Bonfantini is currently second in both the club’s all-time appearance (41) and goalscoring (12) charts.

This season the winger scored the first hat-trick in club history during February’s victory over Verona – a game in which she also scored Roma Women’s 100th goal in all competitions.
