AUCTION: Bid for a match-worn Francesco Totti shirt!

As part of our fundraising effort in the battle against Covid-19, we have teamed up with CharityStars to auction off a match-worn Francesco Totti shirt.

Totti wore the shirt on October 5, 2014, during our 3-2 away loss at Juventus – a game in which he scored our opening goal from the penalty spot.

The large shirt is our red home kit from 2014-15 and was worn by Totti in the second half of the game in Turin.

It has a Serie A patch on the right sleeve and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The 2014-15 season was a memorable one for us as we finished runners up to Juventus. The 3-2 defeat in Turin was the first of the season having won our opening five games, conceding just one goal.

Totti would go on to score eight Serie A goals that season, including a brace in our 2-2 home draw with Lazio. His second goal was an athletic volley from an accute angle - one he followed with an iconic 'selfie' celebration.

The penultimate game of the season then saw us beat Lazio 2-1 thanks to goals from Juan Iturbe and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa to ensure we finished ahead of our old rivals and qualified for next season's Champions League.

All proceeds from the auction of Totti's match-worn shirt go towards our Covid-19 fundraiser on behalf of Lazzaro Spallanzani Hospital. The hospital is at the epicentre of the battle in Italy to save the lives of those infected by the disease all over the country.

Every donation, big or small, makes a huge difference and helps saves lives.
