Dzeko reaches 100 goals for Roma

Edin Dzeko became just the seventh player to score 100 goals for Roma on Saturday night, during the defeat to Sassuolo.

The striker's header, shortly after half-time, brought up the century of goals for the club - and leaving him just two goals shy of Vincenzo Montella on the club's all-time scoring charts.

Francesco Totti leads the way, having scored 307 goals for the club.

Dzeko has scored more goals for Roma than any other club during his career. In 2018 he became the first player ever to score at least 50 goals in three of Europe's top five leagues (Bundesliga, Premier League, Serie A), while he has also scored more than 50 goals for his country.

Congratulations, Edin.
