Esports: Roma sign 'Zelonius' as a player-coach for FIFA 20

AS Roma and Fnatic are pleased to announce that Nathan 'Zelonius' Horton has joined the Roma Esports team, becoming the first new signing of the FIFA 20 campaign.

AS Roma and Fnatic are pleased to announce that Nathan 'Zelonius' Horton has joined the Roma Esports team, becoming the first new signing of the FIFA 20 campaign.

Horton, who most recently represented esports organisation FUTWIZ, has signed on as a player-coach for the new competitive season. The 26-year-old from Birmingham was the MVP of Gfinity Elite Series Season 3 - a tournament in which Roma Fnatic went on to win. For the past two seasons, he has been a member of FUTWIZ, and has become a popular member of the FIFA community with a Twitch fanbase of nearly 16,000 followers.

Horton has experience coaching Top 100 players and knows what it takes to reach the highest level, which is why he will also become the new head coach of the Roma Fnatic FIFA team.

Nathan is very excited about the chance to be a part of Roma and Fnatic's FIFA contingent: "Roma are one of the world's biggest clubs with a lot of history, so it's a great club to represent. The fact that they are partnered with Fnatic, my favourite esport team, makes it an amazing opportunity."
