AS Roma can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Brazilian side Flamengo for the permanent transfer of midfielder Gerson.
The Brazilian leaves the club for a fee of €11.8 million.
In addition, Roma will be owed 10% of any future profit on the sale of the player.
Gerson spent two seasons with the Giallorossi, making 42 appearances in total - scoring two goals.
He spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at fellow Serie A side Fiorentina.
The club would like to wish Gerson the best of luck for the future.
