The International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) has selected two Roma Women stars among its 20 best attacking players in the world in 2019.

The IFFHS was founded in 1984 to chronicle all major statistics and records in football, and has gone on to issue annual updates on the best players and teams in the world game.

This year, its panel of judges selected midfielder Manuela Giugliano as the 13th best 'playmaker' in women's football, following a stellar World Cup with Italy.

Attacker Andressa Alves, another summer signing for the Giallorosse, finished 18th in the final standings.

United States forward Megan Rapinoe was named the top player, edging out Lyon & Germany midfielder Dzsenifer Marozsan.

Roma were the only Italian club to have players make the final standings.

Lionel Messi was the runaway winner for the men's award.

Congratulations to both!
